Armada International's Complete Guide supplements offer a summary of the current trends and technologies in the military equipment industries.

armada is one of the world's leading defence publications and serves the air, sea and land communities in 183 countries with technically-oriented, reference quality editorial coverage.

Each Complete Guide is 12 to 25 pages long with articles on new developments and products for the defense industry. I actually read more about Singapore Technologies Kinetics armoured vehicles here than from official sources.

All Complete Guides are freely downloadable. Links can be found on the individual page for each issue of Armada International. I have attempted to consolidate all the links to download pages for each issue from 2001 to the latest one for Aug/Sep 2007 below. Hope I didn't miss out any :)

From the list of titles above, the main focus for these Complete Guides seem to be in cutting-edge technolgy like UAVs and guided weapons, armoured and transport vehicles as well as infantry equipment for urban and special operations.

As usual, the Special Operations and Asymmetrical/Urban Operations guides are extremely interesting due to scarcity of information in these fields.

Subscription to Armada International per year is USD198 (six issues) outside Europe.

BTW, I discovered Armada International from the links page at Personal Defence Weapons Central, which is quite a good resource for the PDW category of small arms.
